Miroku Maximize


Featured on our Miroku journal cover is the Miroku Bosatsu Hanka Shiyui statue, a National Treasure at Kyoto’s Koryu-ji Temple, built in 603 AD. This sculpture depicts Maitreya, the Buddha “yet to come,” sitting in stillness as the guardian of the Teachings of the Buddha. As a metaphor for Compassion, Maitreya teaches that each of us possesses the potential to be Enlightened.

Lovely Journals

Beautifully illustrated with a slight silver shimmer depending upon the light and angle on which you look at them. Magnificently made. I am sure the recipients will be delighted. Quick postage and expertly packed. Highly recommended!
